Our Treatments
Minimally Traumatic Extraction
Minimally Traumatic Extraction is done when the tooth is either mobile or does not involve removal of bone. A suture may or may not be required after the procedure.
Surgical Extraction of Tooth
Sometimes, a tooth may be submerged inside the bone partially or completely or it may be mal-positioned. This may require surgical removal of the tooth under Anaesthesia.
Bloodless Piezotome Assisted Surgeries
A Piezotome is a device which causes absolutely no harm to the gums and helps in tooth removal very gently with very minimal bleeding. Advised for patients who are apprehensive about blood and or with medical complications.
Cyst Enucleation
An infected tooth may not always be painful. any history of a hit or fall which results in a discoloured tooth may be a sign of an underlying cyst. A regular checkup and x Ray with your dentist will reveal a long standing cyst which has to be surgically removed.
Bone Grafts
When plaque and calculus are not removed the bacteria in plaque produce toxins (or poisons) that can destroy the supporting tissues and bone around the teeth. As the diseases progress, the gum around the tooth becomes loose and separates away from the tooth resulting in deep areas called pockets. As these pockets deepen, more gum tissue and bone are destroyed forming deep bone defects.
Bone grafts are bone substitutes (powders/ gels/ sponges) etc., which are placed in the diseased areas to enhance new bone formation with application of regenerated techniques. Various Bone Graft materials available in hospital are: Osteogen, Biogran, Perioglas, Fisiograft ( gel /sponge).
